In Home Individual Music Therapy Session – 30 min (for specific clients)

Assessment: $80

Regular Session: $60

Personalized music therapy session that takes place in home.

30 min sessions are for clients who fit specific criteria such as low stamina (to then build up to 50 min), medical needs, developmental needs (infants), scheduling issues, and/or the client is in many therapies outside of music therapy.

The Process

  • Once you reach out to us we will schedule an inquiry/consultation call. During this call we will talk about what you are looking for and if music therapy would be a good fit. We will ask questions about your child, family, school, etc. We will also make sure your home is conductive to a session.

    If deemed a good fit we would schedule an assessment session.

  • The assessment session is the first session. This is where the music therapist gathers data regarding child’s interests and areas they need support with. The therapist may see things that are different than what you see in day to day life, this is why open dialogue is important. The therapist will create an assessment summary during this time.

    Assessment may take up to three weeks but you will only be charged the assessment rate once.

  • After the assessment phase the clinician will decide goals and objectives to create treatment plan. This will guide what music interventions to bring into sessions. The goal and objectives are revisited every 3 months to revise, decide new goals and objectives, or discontinue music therapy. There will be open communication between therapist and parents as needed.
